I have a fascination with measuring instruments. Delicately crafted tools that translate our environment into data. But data is not the only output, the act of measuring also facilitates imagination. In my practice I research technologies, myths and cosmologies. Ways people structure and relate to their environment and make invisible or abstract concepts comprehensible. In my work I collect these stories, archetypes and
symbols and rearrange them to reflect on our current world.
