Below the hallways of the busy school
with stressed out students and
deadlines, an unseen subterrainean
force is taking shape.
A dripstone cave that is very slowly
growing crystals…
For this residency we made a cave
installation inside of a maintenance
hatch in the hallway of Artez. Borax
liquid drips down onto the stalagmites,
which turns into blue crystal in a matter
of days. The hatch was opened slightly,
so curious people could peek inside.
